Privacy Policy
This site is small and so is this policy. We do not run advertising networks, we do not sell data, and we do not use cookies for analytics. What follows is the complete picture.
Who runs this site
The Office Capsule is published by an individual established in Spain, identified on our publisher information page. For anything in this policy, including privacy requests, write to hello@theofficecapsule.com.
Because the publisher is established in the European Union, this site follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) even though most of its readers are in the United States. Readers in California have the additional rights described below.
Analytics: what we measure and how
We use Plausible Analytics, self-hosted on our own server in the European Union. It is a cookieless analytics tool: it sets no cookies, stores no persistent identifier in your browser, and does not follow you across other websites. Because of that, this site shows no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.
Each page view records:
- The page you opened and the referring website or search engine.
- Your country, and your device type and browser — never your precise location.
- Campaign tags in the link you arrived from (for example, which pin you clicked).
- When you click a product link, an event recording which look and which item you clicked. That is how we learn which outfits are useful. It is not tied to you.
Your IP address is used to derive the country and is then discarded; it is never stored. None of this data identifies you, and we could not single you out from it even if we wanted to. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site works (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Links to Amazon and other retailers
Product links on this site are affiliate links. When you follow one, you leave this site and the retailer's own privacy policy and cookies apply — including the cookie Amazon sets to attribute a purchase to us. We never receive your name, address, payment details or what you actually bought: Amazon reports totals to us, not people. See our disclosure page for how the commercial relationship works.
We do not currently run a mailing list. If we add one, you will only be on it if you ask to be, every message will carry a one-click unsubscribe, and this policy will be updated before the first email goes out.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to any data about you, or ask us to correct, delete, restrict or port it, and you can object to processing. In practice we hold no data that identifies you, so most requests are answered by saying exactly that. Write to hello@theofficecapsule.com and we will reply within 30 days.
If you are in the EU and are unhappy with our answer, you may complain to your national data protection authority; in Spain that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we have not done so in the past twelve months. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the page rather than made quietly.
